Many African violet growers like to supplement their collections, and expand their interest by growing some of the other plants in the same family as the Saintpaulia. That is, the Gesneriad family. It includes many beautiful examples, some of which are very popular house plants. The photographs shown here include some old favourites and also some less usual plants from this large and mainly tropical plant family
